ICT Resources
As a young person in the UK you will already know that computers are a part of our everyday lives. And, if you’re going to do well in your future career you will have to be comfortable working with computers. To help you develop your ICT skills we’ve installed an impressive range of ICT resources. From “booting up” to running software and surfing the net we have the resources you need to become a proficient computer user. To help you develop your skills we have 8 computer rooms, over 150 PCs and 45 laptops for you to use, as well as laser printers, scanning facilities and digital cameras. You will of course spend time in ICT lessons, but you should try, wherever possible to make use of ICT in other work. You will have access to the computer rooms after school until 6.00 pm and, if you have a computer at home you should use that when preparing homework and coursework. |
