| Introduction
As a sixth form student you can select the subjects that you wish to study so we’ve done our best to offer you a broad choice, including main-stay subjects such as English and Maths, and a range of other subjects that you may find useful in supporting particular career or further education choices you have made. As well as a great range of A Level subjects we offer a number of vocational courses, known as Applied A Levels. And don’t forget - we now offer a further choice for sixth form study via the International Baccalaureate Diploma. If there is a subject that you are particularly interested in, which isn’t currently available, do talk to us about it. We can’t promise anything, but we have been known to create and run new courses where student interest is sufficiently high. Use this page as your gateway to specific subject information - the links to the right will take you to information about the subjects that interest you. Arranged in a consistent, easy to use format each subject page will outline: the nature of the course syllabus, indicating specific topics and optional modules for study; what is involved in the subject at both stages (AS and A) of your chosen A Level and how it will be assessed. Additional information will give you some idea of how the subject may be useful beyond the sixth form and many subject pages give pointers toward careers that may be of interest for those with a strong interest in a particular subject.
