The world is shrinking. Global business, the Internet and high-speed communications have made the world a smaller place. As a result, languages have never been so valuable. As trade shifts from being local to global (even relatively small business enterprises are finding themselves involved in international trade) more and more employers are looking for staff with strong language skills, the skills that will keep their business alive as global competition becomes more intense. Recognising this we have created a valuable language learning resource for our students. These resources: books, DVDs, videos, interactive whiteboards, the Internet and a fully equipped modern language resource centre; will make learning the key skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing easier for you. And, the easier it is to learn, the better your learning will be. That means you have every chance of gaining high marks in your exams and going on to become one of the valuable linguists modern society needs.
Specialist teachers and native speaking Foreign Language Assistants from France, Germany, Spain and China will support you in your quest. And, if languages really are your thing, you will have opportunities to consider Mandarin Chinese, Punjabi, Urdu, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese and Russian (and by the time you read this we may have added a new course in Japanese!).
