ICT Resources at Slough
You will already know that computers are a part of our everyday lives. And, you will have realised that, if you’re going to do well in your future career, you will have to be comfortable working with computers. To help you develop your ICT skills we’ve installed an impressive range of ICT resources. From “booting up” to running software and surfing the net we have the resources you need to become a proficient computer user. To help you develop your skills we have 8 computer rooms, over 150 PCs and 45 laptops for you to use, as well as laser printers, scanning facilities and digital cameras. You will have access to the computer rooms after school until 6.00 pm and, if you have a computer at home you should use that when working on your course assignments.
For those intending to follow a career path in ICT or computing our strong links with the computer industry will provide a valuable, additional resource. Many of our sixth form students have benefited from these links and gone on to enjoy productive careers in the industry.
