Sixth form students typically have a plan - they know where they want to go and what they need to do to get there. Whether they aim to gain a place at University or embark on a promising career they will need to have good exam results in the bag, and they do!
Students achieve well at A Level subjects and they are doing well with the new International Baccalaureate Diploma. Unfortunately, because of the nature of the school and the fact that they don’t yet seem to have worked out a way to show IB results, our A level and IB results aren’t included in the result league tables displayed by the national newspapers. But, if we were there, you’d find us near the top of the list.
Typically, our students achieve a 98 - 99% pass rate at A Level. Of those 40 - 45% are A and B grade passes. That means that almost without exception all of our sixth form students leave with A Level qualifications and about half of them leave with the highest grades!
Our students can be proud to submit CV’s showing their commitment and success - CV’s which demonstrate their abilities and achievements, helping to put their feet firmly on the first rung of the ladder to success.
