Slough Grammar School has many practical links with local businesses, from small private companies to major corporations. Our friends in business take an active interest in the school and appreciate that we’re involved in creating the work force of tomorrow. To support us in that, they provide valuable work experience placements for our pupils and visit the school to give career oriented talks.

Our business contacts keep us up-to-date with the ‘business eye view’ of staffing needs. This means that we as educators have an important insight, which can inform decisions about how we best prepare pupils for their future careers. And of course, many of our pupils will embark upon careers with local employers, further reinforcing our links with the community.
